Let’s work together to create the positive changes you deserve.
Hello! I’m Kelly. My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, understanding, and practical solutions. I believe that building a trusting, supportive relationship is key to helping you grow, heal, and thrive. Every person’s experience is unique, and I am committed to creating a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore your feelings and navigate life’s challenges.
Before working at Holder Wellness, I served as the Special Project Assistant-Counseling at a private high school. I made sure students received timely interventions and emotional support they needed to during difficult times.
I also had the privilege of working alongside Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) in organizing wellness workshops and events, striving to raise mental health awareness and provide the community with tools to cope and thrive.
I gained valuable experience as a Mental Health Counselor at a non profit in Santa Ana. In this role, I led a weekly support group for adolescents with visual, auditory, and medical impairments, creating a safe space for emotional expression and connection. I work with individuals and families of all ages. I enjoy working with teens and families and provide guidance on topics like attachment, communication, and adolescent development. My goal is always to meet clients with compassion and help them find the support they need during vulnerable moments.
My therapeutic approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Positive Psychology, two methods that I have found to be effective in helping clients navigate life's struggles and develop healthier thought patterns and behaviors. I believe in guiding clients through uncomfortable moments while offering practical solutions that they can apply in their daily lives. I’m here to help you understand yourself more deeply, recognize unhelpful patterns, and empower you to make positive changes.
I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals, families, and adolescents, and I know first-hand how transformative therapy can be. I am particularly passionate about working with young people and families, as well as those who are navigating grief, trauma, or mental health challenges. My approach is always client-centered—I want to ensure you feel heard, understood, and supported as we work together to create the positive change you’re seeking.
I believe in treating the whole person, which means I take the time to get to know you and your unique needs.
Whether you're dealing with anxiety, stress, family issues, or a life transition, I’m here to provide guidance, support, and strategies that can make a meaningful difference in your life. I know that healing is not a one-size-fits-all approach, so I’m dedicated to adapting my methods to meet you where you are.
If you're ready to take that first step toward healing, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you on your journey to emotional well-being!
I am currently supervised by Beth Holder, LMFT while working toward full licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
I accept Cigna and United Health Care as an in-network provider and my rate is $150 for a 50 minute session.
