Hi, I’m glad you are here! As a trauma informed, culturally conscious, inclusive therapist, my goal is for you to feel seen, safe, and supported in therapy. As you and I work toward accomplishing your goals, my hope is that you will develop a solid sense of self and feel empowered in your own life. I believe that humans are naturally drawn toward personal growth and that change is possible even though at times it can feel overwhelming. I am passionate about what I do, and I truly believe that a collaborative therapeutic relationship can lead to increased mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing.
I graduated from California State University Fullerton with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services and a Master of Science in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy.
I have worked with a diverse clientele including children, teens, adults, and couples. I have been trained in EMDR, and one of my specialties is working with trauma. I also specialize in working with individuals who have experienced religious trauma or who are questioning their faith. I also love working with adolescents and see the teen years as an exciting, transformative, and challenging time that prepares individuals for adulthood and beyond.
I grew up in Seattle but have lived in Orange County for the last 25 years. I raised my kids here and I appreciate everything that our community has to offer.
I am currently supervised by Beth Holder, LMFT while working toward full licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
I accept Cigna as an in-network provider and my rate is $140 for a 50 minute session. I generally work afternoons and evenings, and I have a few weekend times available.
